Staff members There is accommodation on site for all professional staff members. Accommodation consists of a variety of staff houses all within the hospital grounds. There are nine 1 bedroom houses of differing sizes and three 3 bed roomed houses which are shared. All houses have well equipped kitchens and sitting rooms. Satellite TV subscription and equipment has been provided in most houses.
Students There is a student house on site which has 2 twin rooms and a combined kitchen/sitting room.
Visitors
Hotel: The Haven hotel is 40 minutes drive by 4X4 from the hospital (do not try to get there via Willowvale dirt road).
Backpackers: Bulungula backpackers can be reached either with a 1 hour 4X4 journey or a 20 minute car journey, a swim across a river and a 20 minute walk!
Other: It may be possible to privately rent cottage accommodation at Xhora mouth which is 16km by untarred road from Madwaleni. |
